was wondering what temp range works best for everyone im trying to steady my home made bator. & also the humidity, its summer over here in new zealand if that makes a diff its my 1st time.
its a styrofoam bin with a light for heat & a pc fan have made a manual turner that i can tilt from the outside so no need to open it. window in the top so i can see, 3 thermometers & a hygrometer i calibrated? it ( salt method ) read 73 after 12 hrs.
the 2 thermometers are sitting in the egg carton & read similar the 3rd is on the inside of window & reads a few degrees lower than other 2 but i would think thats normal.
when i do a search i keep getting diff answers.

I would try to keep at it 99.5 degrees and 65% humidity. Hope that helps!
