Ten gallon saltwater?!?!

Hi! My dad said I may get a saltwater tank (ten gallon) and I was reading a older thread on here. It said that I could get a Mandarin goby or a pair of clownfish and a damselfish. If I got the Mandarin goby could I get some coral shrimp or hermit crabs? What other groups/ types fish can I put in it? I'll be using live rock & sand.

Update: I found a better deal for a 20 gallon. What can I keep in that ?

I'm thinking; what if I got a Mandarin goby. But can I keep a few peppermint shrimp with it as well? Any other fish I can keep with a Mandy goby? Can I keep two Mandy's in a twenty gallon tank? Or a Mandy and a few peppermint shrimp?
