Does anyone know where i can get antibiotics for my turkeys the are sneezing and have watery eyes they are around 3 months old any help would be great im in florida thanks

The FDA has pretty much pulled all feed and water based antibiotics off the shelves for poultry (since January 2017). They expect vet scripts now.

You can still get injectable antibiotics at most feed stores. Many injectable antibiotics can be given orally. Look in the refrigerated aisle or in the cattle section.

Or you can get something like Fish-Moxi which is made for fish tanks.

If you plan on eating these turkeys, you may wish to consult with a vet, especially if you plan on giving away or selling any of the meat.

I'm not a turkey expert...I've only did one batch awhile back. Coryza is a common bacterial infection in young turkeys that causes bubbling eyes. Usually it smells. Antibiotics aren't necessarily effective according to a resources I've read.

I have seen sulpha drugs used for it.

You can get sulphadimethoxine in injectable form at Jeffers Supply here: https://www.jefferspet.com/products/di-methox-injection-40-250ml

Instead of chlorinating the water, you might try Copper Sulfate to help purify the water and boost their immune systems.

Hopefully a turkey expert will step in here to help.

Are they exhibiting any other symptoms, other than sneezing and watery eyes?

I mostly see chicken threads in the emergencies section, so you may want to post in the turkeys section and see if you get a faster response.

I hope they recover!

Thanks they just sneeze and have kind of swolle eyes and dirt sticks on their nostrils

Are they holding steady or are they worsening at all? Did you find something to give them?

I'm wondering what can be done to help. Hopefully you'll get more suggestions on what to do. Did you have a sudden weather change from the hurricanes where you live?
