My incubators are full so I'm offering 6 eggs to test fertility and my shipping techniques. Not to mention I'm tired of omelets, egg salad, quiche, cheesecake, etc. I have 2 pens each with a pure Coronation Sussex roo over 2 pure hens and 1 light hen so you will receive both pure and split eggs. I've had 100% fertility here but I would like to know what others get using different incubation techniques. Please understand I cannot guarantee your hatch rate once the eggs leave here due to the PO's "gentle" handling during shipping and your differing incubation methods.
Here are my boys last fall when they were nice and clean.
Here is one of my pens now, and they need a bath after the winter.
Also, while these birds are large, Sussex are just good producers of only medium to large eggs. They do not lay humongous eggs, nor are they super producers. So if you're looking for heavy duty producers of large to jumbo eggs you may want to look elsewhere.
Parent birds have been pullorum and AI tested and are clean. NPIP certification in process.
