Texas guy starten clueless

Well have a 8x12 pole shed converting to coop and planning the inside. Having never had chickens not sure of layout but still have time till starting anything.
Wondering about where to buy locally.
Just planning to have layers.

! Pleased you joined us! When you ask about buying locally, are you referring to chicks or chickens or something else? I know Ideal Poultry is out of Texas...but as big as Texas is, not sure how local it is! Good luck to you!
