I got home from work a little while ago and walked into the house to find the air conditioner running wide open and the light bulb in my chicks cage burned out!! The poor things were huddled in a heap trying to keep warm. It was freezing in here. I ran and turned off the A/C and grabbed a new light bulb and changed it. Then I scooped them up one at a time and put them under the bulb. They recovered quickly, thank goodness. They are pecking around and eating and cheeping again. Geez!!! My husband has been working on the A/C, trying to get it to run properly, and he must have turned the temperature setting way down to get the A/C to click on, then left it. He's asleep right now. Wait till I talk to him in the morning!! :thun
