I have been with backyardchickens.com for 4 1/2 years. I don't post much, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone for all your help as I went from a newbie to one who thoroughly enjoys chickens. Advice from long-time owners has been invaluable at every stage of learning -- from raising chicks, introducing pullets and hens, and providing the best environment for my girls. And, with the help of all those who posted information on coops including photos and plans, I actually built a new coop this fall from scratch, which was no small feat for this senior (64 yo) woman. I have always been handy around the house, but had never attempted anything like this before. Detailed info from numerous members helped me create a pretty nice place for them. Nice enough I'd even sleep there!
So THANK YOU -- moderators, readers and contributors! [IMG]
