I have to say I am so grateful for all the advice and wealth of information you have all shared on this site. I've been lurking for over a year, finally joined the forum in September, and now I have a happy healthy flock of 7 with a "hopefully" predator-proof enclosure.

At first I wasn't sure I'd even be able to do this, as we live in a heavy predator area surrounded by woods, but with all of your encouragement and advice I feel pretty confident that my chickens will live a safe and productive life!

I've started a Facebook page for my bunch, as it's easier for me to post there and I wanted to share it with you. None of this would have been possible without all of you, so a heartfelt THANK YOU!!!

Here's the page, if you're so inclined to browse.

I have six pullets and one cockerel:
Two Silver Laced Wyandottes (Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald)
Two Rhode Island Reds (Opha Mae Johnson and Isadora Duncan)
One Barred Rock Rooster (Cecil Bridgewater, formerly known as Cecile - "she" turned out to be a "he"!)
One Australorp ( Big Maybelle)
One "Golden Nugget" (Blossom Dearie)

Hope you enjoy the page and pictures and thank you again. <3
