I recently was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, My doc told me stress is going to make my condition worse and suggested I find a way to release it. I remember when I was young, helping my grandmother with her chickens. How happy I was to help her collect the eggs and raking the pen, helping with her chickens and in the garden. So I decided to buy some chickens and start my own flock. Well needless to say, it all starts with one, then three, now I have 27. I sit and watch them for hours, they have brought me so much peace and enjoyment. Chickens are good for the soul, when I am away I worry so about them. The reason I am sharing this with you now is, Its all because coming to this site just to see some pics. I registered, read the forums and you have all contributed to the health of my own little flock. I want to thank all of you so much for the real life information you have shared with me. I will continue to come and will soon share pics of my chickens.
