Thawed water bowls

Happy thanksgiving ! I went out this morning water bowls were frozen I put dirt under the cinder blocks and hooked up the new light bulb heaters it took about three hours to thaw them ! Once they were thawed I changed the water and also put another bowl on the ground next to it the other bowl froze over in an hour and the heated bowls stayed thawed all day sweet !

What temps was it running it in?

I put mine on 3 bricks (semi-circle) and stuffed the open area with shavings. My waterer had gone from frozen solid to freezing at the edges.

Yesterday it was 26 in the am and got up to 32 today I will check them before I go to work I was glad that it didn't thaw right away that prob would have been too hot but I think it's good ! Last night got down to 19 degrees
