I posted a while back on this forum about my chicken Scrumper, still have no idea of gender, but as he turns 8 months old I'm beginning to think male.
I'm also unsure of breed but at a glance I'd think Leghorn Silkie.

If anyone can tell that would be great, pictures in the instagram link below.

I take him out on adventures quite often now, he's been kayaking, met the Mayor, been to the seaside and an Art Gallery. Does anyone else take their chickens on Adventures?

    Looks like a Sultan. I believe it's a hen.

I believe Scrumper is a Silkie mix pullet/hen.

Thanks guys, when I bought the eggs I was told Silkies would hatch from them, at 8 months Scrumper doesn't look like a Silkie

Isn't kayaking with your chicken a normal thing to do then? He went for 7 hours with me on Saturday. No panicking at all, just seemed happy to come with me, he fell asleep at one point too

I believe she might be some sort of polish with that crest, beard, and dark legs. Shes a jewel of a chicken following uou around on adventures!

She is a mixed breed, highly likely a silkie x polish.
