She ran as soon as I caught her lol

"Imbecile," Callabine growled, slamming the door shut. She almost fell into her bed and pulled the covers over her head, falling asleep in moments as she stopped fighting the affects of the sleeping pills.

Ykrus ran after Illykran.  The other guys weren't sure what to think.  "You guys go wherever and keep it shut.... it's uh classified."

"Yeah right."  Beoron (crud I forgot his name already) nickered.

"Dad what the heck did I just witness back there?"  Ykrus asked.

"Its not her, she'd be older than that anyhow."  He was angry with himself.

"Well you were right, she doesn't reciprocate... but you were an idiot in there."

"She's..."

"Got you twisted, yeah I can tell.  I think you need to avoid her.  She's not the nicest by what little I've witnessed and she got you out of focus."

"I was trying to help her."

"Well if it did any good it will show later... hey will you stop!"  Ykrus was tired up picking up the pace.

"What?"

"Hey you're about to go to war.... I don't want t loose you because some silly females got you screw loose and doesn't seem to give a bleep about you.  Though I will give her some credit for holding her composure while you were acting like a dork."  Ykrus sighed.

"So you're telling me that you want to relinquish or position to Ykrus and take his place on Kabile?"

"Yes."

Fejorn took a big sigh.  "Illykran you served both my grandfather and my father before me.  You saved many already."

"It's my decision my King  I am needed down there, and I can fight better than most."

"True, and I suppose that f I send your son to war anyhow.... that I would possible still loose you if he does die."  Fejorn grumbled.  "No."

"My King?"  Illykran did not want Ykrus to go.

"He can have your position, but I need you somewhere else.  You've been needed back home anyhow.  You were supposed to only be gone two weeks.  Its been four."

"Wait are you saying that neither if us are going to battle?"

"That's exactly what I am saying.  The house of Larkspur has paid enough blood... and I will also talk to the council about getting you home in time.  That pilot you came with is capable of outrunning Drex."

"Well so am I."

"But she has a ship, and you don't.   I will ask her myself."

"My King...."

"Do not interrupt."

"Yes."  He bowed

There was a knock at Callabine's door just after sunrise.
"Oh, not again!"Callabine dragged herself out of bed and opened the door.

Orb turned a little pale. "Do they have a stone about the size of a Mobguar there." It was a thought that he didn't want to visit, he pressed his brow because it upset him.

"Oh, not again!" Callabine dragged herself out of bed and opened the door.

It was Bearol.  "His Majesty King Fejorn requests your presence promptly."
"Great," Callabine groaned. "Give me a few minutes to get presentable."

"Our best is out there now. Yet we do not know how many there will be." Nostros sat upon the throne. His manner was very profound when he spoke. His heart had changed, but some say for the better. "Never in my life would I have conceived to have to be here now, giving such an order. It rots me to the core." He gazed over the group of about twenty Terrellians, each wore the same garb as Orb. They were of the highest warrior class, specialists to execute the most difficult areas of justice. Crut used to be one, some say such work took away a Terrellian's joy, and made their light recede and hide a little deeper within. They were armed with hidden weapons, bow, sword, dagger, and spear. However, they each held their spears as they stood at attention. "You are charged to train with the Mobguar, and learn how to kill one. Should we possibly face this new foe... we will need all the help we can get. You are now classified as Dragon slayers." Nostros stiood and held up his sword, and in unison the banged their spears on the floor. It sent a shockwave of flickering light along the floor, like ripples in water. "Go and may blessings of protection be with you." Nostros bowed to them and the departed.

Krits walked up to Nostros' side. "No doubt this this is the handy work of our key enemy."

"We must have faith in the prophecy... that Valhalla will be cast down for his deeds. Yet we are going to have to deal with the aftermath, and the damage done." Nostros didn't even look at Krits he simply turned and walked away. "I hope that specialist find this Dragon thing to be a hoax."

"We all do." Krits sighed. He hadn't told anyone about Manex, except Evangeline, Nark, and Evanna. He felt it not the right time. Now with this new wave of enemy surfacing and his brother being partly lost, he was lost as to when would that right time be.
