The BEST brooder thermometer... NO JOKE!

Okay, so I hatched some quail, and the best brooder thermometer that I have ever seen is this: An infrared thermometer where you point it with a laser pointer, then it tells you the exact temperature, plus/minus .1 of a degree.

Now, whenever I see them hanging out other than other the heat bulb, I point it at their feet, and adjust the light acccordingly. It's an instantaneous thermometer!

It is the best, no joke!

i've got one of those and they're pretty fantastic, but they only tell the surface temp, so not good for incubators!
