The biggest egg I have ever gotten from my girls!!!

I got this giant egg from my 5 year old Buff Orpington this morning. This hen lays jumbo eggs (2.8 to 3.0 ounces) about 4-5 days per week. At 5 years old!!

Today she laid her biggest one yet. It weighed 3.4 ounces! (97 grams) I couldn't believe my eyes when I pulled it out of the nest box!

Surprisingly the egg was only a single yolker. I was expecting it to be a double because of the size.
