The broody club!!

    This is for all the broody wacko's out there and love to see hens of all poultry sit on a clutch of eggs and hatch them out so post pictures and let's start a thread we will love to look at and have fun[​IMG][​IMG]

    Yes they are!! I have a white silkie hen gone broody 2 days ago I'm so excited even no it's winter

    Silkie just hatched 4 chicks a week ago. She's the best momma ever!!

    That's great to see is she inside or out in the coop?

    They are in the garage in a dog crate. It's somewhat chilly in my garage so they are getting used to the cold but not the really cold. Heres a pic that I took yesterday. They were a week old yesterday. I'll post more pics tomorrow.

    @chickenfarmer have you put the tarps on the coop yet?

    No,I still have to buy the tarp then I will post a picture here of it and earlier I put 2 eggs in the incubator incase hers dont hatch or she only has 1

    How many eggs did you put under her? I tried the incubator it's just too much work for me. If I have a broody I'm going to use her so I don't have to do that much work.

    She has 5 eggs under and I'm sure theres a fertile one or a couple at least that will hatch but since it's her first time going broody and bein in winter I don't want her to lose a little weight for no reason and like I said I dont want her bein her first time broody to not hatch any
