Hello, I have 2 week old chicks that are getting chick grit and some cornmeal, I was wondering if I could give them the cereal Grits, It is White Hominy grits made from corn, it also has some iron, thiamin, riboflavin niacin and folic acid. I just want to sprinkle some for them to scratch around in, I think that they are getting cabin fever:/ and I just want to keep them busy. Any advice would be great. Thanks:frow

I've given mine cooked grits, not raw. Mine didn't love it, surprisingly. I have to mix stuff in (leftover veggies). They like oatmeal better.

I wonder if raw grits would blow up in their little bellies?
