So one of the 3 eggs that I have left has finally piped, it was going well but the chick has seemed to turn around with its foot on the pip site. Just wondering does the chick need any assistance or should I just leave her be. (Its been about 6-8 hours since the first pip, should I leave her for 16 more hours?)

I think she should be alright but since my hatch has gone terrible, I just want to be on the safe side

(Sorry if poor quality)

It'll be too soon to assist. 12 - 24hrs is recommended before assisting. If you assist too soon the chick will die due to blood loss. Also the yolk won't be fully absorbed yet either.
The foot is in the air hole. I would at least make the hole a little bigger.
And it's been around 12 hours right now according to the post time.

If you do begin to assist, if any blood is seen, stop, & don't continue.

You can apply coconut oil to the membranes to see if there's any active blood vessels. If there's red vessels then the chick isn't ready. If they're pale, no signs of anymore blood, then it's ready.
