Kind of looks like Olive Eggers or Black Sex Links to me. Although I think if it was BSL the male would be barred. Hopefully someone else who is more knowledgeable can chime in. Sorry you didn’t get your Jerseys though.

They came from Meyers adoption chicks so I don’t think they are a mix.

I think you have 2 boys.

The second one is obviously a boy but keep an eye on the crest and tail feathers on the first.

Hope I’m wrong on the first....but the second is certainly a cockerel...

They could be!! They do look a lot like one and Meyers carries that breed!

Black Copper Marans should have feathers on legs. It looks like the first bird has some leg feathers. I think the first one is a Maran.

If they’re hatchery quality though they might not have great leg feathering. I think I see a tiny hint of it on both of them.

Those are both black copper marans. The color is correct for a BCM and not all of them get leg feathers. The first one is a girl and the second one is a boy.
