The chicklets' first play day pics

The little guys are a week old now and we decided it was time for a play day. We put them in a piece of plastic pipe hubby brought home from work (is usually used as underground water pipe). They had a blast digging in the dirt and sunbathing.

My daughter was sticking her finger through the hole and really caught the attention of these two. It was hysterical watching them try to get the "worm".

I have to say I'm really pleased with Ideal Poultry. This was my first time ever ordering chicks. I ordered 12 surprise breed pullets and got 20 very healthy, nicely colored chicks. I definitely would order from them again.

Awww you got a great assortment! They look like they are having fun!

Mine are two weeks old from Ideal, I didn't get extras though, bummer. I guess it is time to get my crew out for some sunshine before the days get any cooler.
