The Coop from Hell (pic heavy)

after a month and a half of building the coop is built! It's insulated, there's electricity! The chicken door is "draw bridge" style. Hubby and I are in no way carpenters but did really well on our own! If someone can tell me if I'm allowed to post the URL to my blog I'll do so there's more explanation and pictures. anywho... here's the finish product...

all we have left to build are the nest boxes and finish putting in the OSB... But the chickens are in their coop N loving it!

Are you sure you two are "non-carpenters"?? It is fantastic!! Make sure you have plenty of ventilation....much more important than one would think.

its so very cute - yall did a great job. now my coop was built by 2 "non-carpenters"

and looks like a big shanty built out of pallets - oh yeah because it was and is

- yours looks really nice, like humans actually made it!

no but i dont want to dis DH - he did a great job and i really love my new coop too!
