I thought it was strange the cute little bearded lady wasn't right next to her rooster like usual. I found her sitting on 10 eggs next to the house foundation behind the holly bushes. Gee- it's 105 or so lately. I called the guy I got the lil girl from and asked him if he could identify the breed of rooster I gave him, which was the noisy one just like the quieter one we kept ive in a residential neighborhood) It is russet in the middle with blue-black tail and hackles with a curly black full beard. He hadn't a clue, but told me his rooster, a magnificent fellow, jumped the smaller one I gave him but mine BEAT THE CRAP out of his and has his 72 virgens and then some LOL.
