The Lisser Chillin' With My Peeps

Today when I was out tending to the critters, I discovered the cutest, most adorable little egg I've ever seen!!!

It's been like Easter at my barnyard, the layer girls are all getting cranked up and laying all over their coop. The teeny little white egg was in my silkie/d'uccle coop. I have one silkie mix pullet, two silkie pullets, and one d'uccle that are all the same age, so the egg came from one of them. [IMG] I intend to separate the silkies and d'uccles once the snow melts enough for me to get back to construction!

I'm so excited! Er, I mean EGGCITED!!!! [IMG]

I LOVE getting really small eggs!! I usually put them in a little bowl in the fridge and over time they will eventually dry out in the inside. When it does I have a small bowl I keep them in!! [IMG]

Hubby found one today in a water puddle!! Those sill chickens!! [IMG]
