Tonight was my girls check up, we check there feet, there bums,feathers etc. Every week. We want to make sure they are ok, and that we can catch anything before it gets out of hand. All is well and they look wonderful ! What was funny was one chicken as I petted her stopes dead in her tracks, and just kind of stooped down while I was petting her, I believe this is a sign she will lay soon? It was like I was the master and she was the servant lol.now if you know my birds, they come running when I call them, and there gentle, but when I try to pet them they usually move away from me. I'm so happy to think soon I may get an egg lol. I waited 52 years to have chickens, and to get an egg from them! This is so exciting!
