Our Red Star hens are laying. They were 20 weeks on Monday and we got our first egg Monday afternoon. Since then we got 1 on Wednesday, 2 on Friday, and 3 today. I was a little upset because I dropped one today. I'm excited though. It seems like the hens are getting down to business. I can't wait to make a batch of muffins, or cookies, or zuchini bread (or all of those things).

*One Question. One of the eggs I found today has a ton of tiny white specks on the brown surface. Is this a bad thing?
