We got the girls in April... began the work on the coop just before May... and just finished the run and final touches yesterday!!

I think it's pretty great. [IMG]
The coop I built by myself, which I am quite proud of! My siblings all painted a side of the coop (and the roofs), with a couple sides still in need of paint. The coop only took me about a week to do.
My Dad decided to build me a new run (my old PVC pipe and chicken wire was a hassle to use... but we are keeping as a chicken tractor), and he began working on it every weekend. Here is the finished product!

The coop and run!! You can see the shelf that holds all of their food and supplies in the second shot. (second shot also shows it with the roofs open!

A view of the back door to the run from the inside. Yes- the run has a back door and a front door.

A chicken's eye view of the coop.

The girls seem to like it!

    Gwen and her likeness.

We put a nice trellis on top, and hopefully this time next year the trumpet vines will have it covered!

Please let me know what you think of it! [IMG]

Oh and just for fun... here is how it looked BEFORE we started fixing it up and making it bigger...

Great job! Really nice. I see Gwen prefers to eat the food on the top, none of that pecked over stuff in the tray below.
