My step-daughter, Sarah, and I went to Chester Basin - Circle Pond Farm - to pickup twelve little gaffers. We got 2RIR, 3Barred R., one Columbian, 3 Golden-L Wyandottes and 3 Speckled Sussex. We brought them home, Sarah holding them on her lap - the temperature in the car tropical. Now they are in their new brooder and seem happy enough. I'm already worn out. And Hoagy, the dog, is well...frantic. But I'll keep him in check and give him lots of love for not whining and carrying on! I'll post pics soon. They're in my office so I'm writing this on my laptop in the living/dining room. oh.
