We have our brooder all set up, 250W heat lamp, chick feeder/waters, thermometer, and got some pine shavings today.

The coop is coming along, using wood from an old barn that was taken down nearby. should be pretty cool. Trying to finish it before the snow... ;-)

We chose the birds we did as we have kids, 5, 7, and 14, so wanted heavy breed dual purpose, mild mannered girls.

We are tickled, and so happy to have found you all, thx again for all the great FB!!!
