The girls helped themselves to an new treat today

    I laid out slug and snail bait around the zucchini and various other vegetables last night after the chickens went to bed.
    this morning they ate every single last morsel of it. There was a pretty good chase when the older girls realized one of the smaller chickens got the last bite!

    I'm not worried for their health, it's OMRI listed and safe for animals.

    Just an interesting way of them telling me they enjoy slugs and snails in our vegetable patch i guess!
