The good news is, I was called back to work ( been laid off for a few months) [IMG]
The bad news is- instead of going back to tech support, I'll be in customer service department for a while. [IMG]

The good news is- in tech support, we were allowed to be online all day, so I could hang out in BYC [IMG]
The bad news is- they don't let ya do that in customer service dept. [IMG]

The good news is, I'll be working again [IMG]
The Bad news is, I'll be working with all women, instead of all guys [IMG]

The good news is, I'll be getting tech support pay for customer service work [IMG]
The bad news is.. I wont be able to be on BYC all day [IMG]

The bad news is.. my rooster was killed [IMG]
The good news is, there are eggs that are most likely fertile with his offspring [IMG]

The bad news is I dont have an incubator [IMG]
The good news is I found someone who will incubate the eggs [IMG]

The good news is- I decided to get an incubator [IMG]
The bad news is- yikes, that'll be another addiction [IMG]

Quote:I still have little WeeMan... he might become soup, though, because he's been attacking lately.
I do have fertile eggs- the biggest little rooster had himself 4 ladies. So he kept busy, and I am sure he didn't ignore any of them.
I just dont have an incubator .
I thought of making a little insulated sling to make one of the chickens incubate, but I have a feeling she'd not like that. So I am sending the eggs to skand.

Our original chickens ,8 out of 12 were roos. I know dern well that if we incubate eggs, we'd end up with a high ratio being roos. It would be my luck, for sure.

    Thanks!!

:Dthe good news is we REALLY enjoyed your time off [IMG]

The bad news is we are really going to miss your roo and stories:(

The good news is you don't really need an incubator to hatch out eggs, just use an electric skillet/oven/roaster like me...

the bad news is...its dangerous...I just hatched half of 35 eggs, got more in the mail today, and am ordering SLW's next (they were supposed to be BEFORE the BLRW's, that's more bad news)

and to top it all off, the good and the bad news is I don't really have room in the roaster oven or the house cages when they get out of the oven but I'm making room and they are so beautiful, those lil chickies.

then the good and bad news is when you go crazy like this, you have to learn more about trading, selling, choosing who goes and stays, and all kinds of stuff so you may not have time to tell us stories anymore...

but it IS time to replace the little wee man, so come on lil chickies!

I'll still have time for stories.. and there will still be stories. We will have to see- perhaps the Ladies will decide to become old maids.
    Or take up with WeeMan...
