Emma neither crows or lays eggs.
Sorry. Emma is 100% male. I have had roosters that have waited until they were over 8 months old to start crowing. I've had others start at 1 month though too. It all depends on the chicken. He's very handsome! Hope you can keep him.
Definitely a rooster.
this has been an ongoing debate between my son and I. This is his account so I am sure he is going to be disappointed with me posting on it. However, it has been my opinion but Emma is definitely a rooster considering we also have bam bam who is a hen. we also have a bantam cochins who started crowing at 1 month so it is very strange that this .one is not crowing yet and is I think 8 months.
and yes, we can keep him. What is one more rooster when you already have around 10.
Lol! I know that feeling! I have about that many too. That may also be part of the reason that he isn't crowing. Sometimes they just don't want to announce their presence to the larger and more dominant roosters.
No debate to be had - 100% roo.
Rooster for sure.
Definitely a rooster. Sorry. (
X2. He is beautiful though.
