I decided to make this thread because I have a lot of questions about hybrids, well, since I am incubating hybrids this very second!!! Feel free to ask any questions, post pics, or answer questions about hybrids!!! Make sure to spread this thread to whoever u know!!!

does anyone know if a mallard/ rouen hybrid can fly? Also, has anyone ever had one?

I would point out that a mallardxrouen cross is not a hybrid because they are both Anas platyrhynchos.

It is a breed hybrid, even if not a species hybrid. Otherwise golden 300 hybrids would not be called hybrids. A breed is an isolated genetic pool and crossing two breeds creates a type of hybrid just not in the strictest of definitions.

No the definition of a hybrid is 2 parents of different species.. ..crossing 2 breeds is a cross-breed

Yes I agree, different man made breeds of the same species are still the same species just visually they have been eggagerated by man....
