Short toes = female.
short head = female.

Do hens necks ever look blue, @KsKingBee @casportpony? Peafowl’s neck feathers are also looking less feathery and more furry?

Now he looks like a male!... next step ... dark feathers on the belly.
Some lines of peacocks have ... weird ... very slow!
Here, the young blue male 2018 have been for a long time in the colors of their sex!
Sometime, wild peafowls in India have weird moults ... too!

He is only around 6 months old, I think, so s/he has a little while to change. I live in Spain so, maybe he’d going to have a weird moult too?

Your boy looks exactly like my 6 month old boys.
