The kids came in this morning and finished tying these two lap size quilts:

ETA: Do you think I should stitch the top to the bottom along the solid side pieces where they meet the colored squares? It is just tied with embroidery thread right on at the corners where the colored squares meet.

quilting is addictive isn't it? I think of quilting a therapy, and we all need more therapy right? [IMG]

We were thinking of raffling them off at the beginning of next year to raise money for our club to have supplies. We need cutting mats and rollers. If not, then give them to the hospital or somewhere that can use them. These were a group project so I couldn't give them to just one student.

Thanks Kim I sent an email!
I just found some places on the blue one I have to re-tie,, they threads are too short and are coming undone,, it was my Kinder girl on those,, so I think she did a great job all considered!

I had added a question to the first post, but it was after all the responses. Do you guys think I should sew around the seam between the dark outer edge and the colored squares? The only thing hold them together is the embroidery thread tied in the corners of the colored squares.
