We made a little night house for the girls. We had an old workshop that wasn't in use anymore so we split it into two sides. The girls live in one side and on the other side the week old chicks are in the brooder. We also store chicken supplies on the other side. Next step is to make them a chicken tractor. For now we are cheating and I put 2 great dane size wire dog kennels together and they use that during the day. Here is a pic of the ladys getting ready for bed. For now they are roosing on a side table until I put 2x4 roosts up.
