I have decided to enter the laziest person in the world contest today!

I am on my 49th cup of coffee so far today. The most energy I have expended is turning my head to read the Texas Like temperatures on my indoor/outdoor thermometer.

I have been watching TV, But I really dislike the channel it is on. I would change the channel but the remote is 16 inches from the keyboard, and it is not worth the effort to reach for it.

I have lots of work to do outside. I think I will let it go for another week or two.

I am sure there is no one lazier than me today.. I would go to the awards ceremony to get the cash prize, but that's a lot of work to do..

[IMG] I feel magnetically drawn to this contest because it's where I belong. When there's nothing special to do, the majority of my day is spent sitting, sitting, moving a little to sit somewhere else, and more sitting. Most productive task accomplished: blinking. [IMG]Maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but still......[IMG]

    OH man!! You can blink?

I tried it once and people thought I was sleeping. I can not seem to get the process of close and open the eye lids fast down pat.

Sure can! I'm quite talented for a lazybones. [IMG]

How long does it take you to blink? 5 hours and 59 minutes? My thinking is, the laziest individual in the world would be too lazy to even blink at all. The next step is to master sleeping with your eyes open! [IMG] That basically weans you into the ultimate and final phase: never moving your eyelids.

Oh wow!! I never thought of that... Just how much energy a person could save by not closing their eyes to sleep..

[IMG] I'm surprised you can type! Or do you have a computer that you talk to and it types for you?[IMG] Moving those fingers is awfully hard work!

Congratulations, you have accomplished nothing! [IMG]

I hadn't thought of that, but you're absolutely right! [IMG]

What consumes more energy i.e. burns more oxygen moving the fingers or moving the lips and breathing harder. I try to limit my inhales to 3 per hour.
