This is officially the THIRD story on BYC! (Third RECENT story, that is, referring to stories written in 2011) This is the amazing life story of a budgie named Apple! By the great Birdies aka the Magic Birdie Note: This is MY STORY. Do not copy it in any way. You can write another story about budgies, but it can NOT be like mine. Period. If you are thinking of writing another like this, then DO NOT READ MY STORY. This is a SERIES!! Here are the books: The Life Story of Apple the Budgie Spring's Story Chapter One I was in a very crowded cage with my siblings when a huge net came down and scooped one of my sisters up, and put her in a cardboard box. I screeched in surprise, and flew around my cage panicing. More of my siblings went in the box until all was left in my cage was me, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Down came the huge net again, and although I flew around my cage and bit it, it got me, and dumped me in the now crowded box. Down came my 3 siblings after me, and we were lifted on to something really bumpy. I flew in panic, then settled down, squished, on the only perch there was. One of my brothers calmed down enough to ask in a paniced voice, "Where are they taking us?" "I don't know!!" Another screamed. Suddenly, the box was filled with voices, "We're going to DIE!!!" "Where ARE we going??" "Don't they know we're living creatures?" I had to join the complaints as whatever we were on stopped. As we started bumping again, I noticed light coming in holes I didn't know were there. Where were we? A "human" as they called themselves, grabbed our box, and poured us in a huge cage like water. The chirping and screaming just got louder. What was happening to us??? More "humans" gathered around. What were THEY looking at?? Can't a bird get any privacy? We all stopped chirping, and pulled in our feathers. We were in a really big cage in a well lit room, lots of hard looking stuff with things inside, harder, shinier stuff, more and more mysterious stuff... Then I spotted a giant creature glaring at us with big, round, yellow, eyes. A furry gray thing. Staring. He lifted one of the stick-like things attached to him, and scraped at... Nothing! Nothing was seperating us from him other than our cage! He looked like he wanted us, but why didn't he come? I knew he could get us if he wanted. I screeched in alarm. Where were we, and what are they going to do to us??
