Yesterday we got 6 new chicks to add to our flock, 5, 6-7 week old pullets (Ameraucana/Red sex link cross) and one polish mix roo and put them with our big birds yesterday. We managed to get them all in the coop last night and they were all doing great this morning. They are stilll getting pushed around a little, but I am guessing that is normal to put them in their line of the pecking order. I am hoping that they will all get along ok and I can't wait until they grow up and lay some green or blue eggs!! How old to Ameraucanas typically start to lay??[IMG]
