Dont miss the show this evening, it wont be around again for another 50 years or so. At dusk, look at the crescent moon, there will be 2 very bright stars to the right of it. The one immediately right of the moon is Venus, and further right is Saturn. Dont miss it, its fabulous.

We saw it last night. I so wish I had a telescope to see it close. Pretty!

I thought it was last night too. No chance last night of seeing anything...snow and rain all night. Today too, supposed to clear up later. [IMG]

I have watched the "tri-light" night show for several evenings and it is beautiful. Now it's snowing and the weather forcast for the next several days isn't condusive to stargazing so I am making plans to watch the next time it occurs. The nice thing is that it coincides with the anniversery of my retirement, so the next time it occurs I will be retired for 67 years.

well, it's been building up for some time, I saw the planets without the moon a week or so ago, it may not be the perfect set up but the days before and after are still lovely no matter what!!! Worth the effort!!!
