i found a maglite mini led flashlight at home depot yesterday, and that thing is awesome! i dont have any fertile eggs yet, i just got my roo, but i candled a regular egg in a lit room, and i could still see the yolk and everything perfectly. whats funny, is my incubator has not been shipped yet, and i am already buying a candler, and candling infertile eggs... i think this *might* turn into an addiction! That's what I use to candle eggs in the bator. Works like a charm. [IMG]

Wow, probably works better than the $29.00 candler I ordered.

i think i got it for 22 bucks? but its an awesome flashlight anyways, i use it to go feed the goats when i get home from work, as it is already dark by then, and it lights up the yard pretty good! so i felt i could justify the money i spent... i can justify anything as long as it results in chickens [IMG]

I use an old slide projector turned on it's back so the beam points up. The problem is getting older bulbs (300 watts). My DH used to be an art student so he had several.
