The new Coop De Ville

Here is our new coop for the 3 girls and one rooster. I had 15 chickens in an old and larger coop that raccoons got into and killed all but one little rooster. The new coop is much smaller and more secure. Had fun with the decorating . Just need to do a little landscaping . I put sand inside the coop and I have to say I will never go back to pine shavings again . Hay is indie the nest box. If you have not tried sand do it . You will love it , and so will the chickens.

Thank you, I will take some tomorrow and post the new pics. It is real easy to clean out . The door opens on the side and I just pick up the poop with a cat scooper and put in a small bucket to save of the garden. We live in California so temps are not as cold .
