I thought I would share my coop build, hopefully the last one for a long time! It is still in progress, have been working on it for about 2 weeks now.

The first coop I built has been great for the last 3 years, but with our new chicks joining us it was time for an upgrade for some suitable room.

This past winter I took a shed down I got for free and decided to upcycle.

We got a lot of free materials for this, as well as tiles for the inside floor, and underneath that will be hardware cloth.



So here the old coop:

So as of today I am at this point!

Yes, same as the coop itself.

Was originally going to be just half but after a heavy rainfall and th me muck I decided the whole area would benefit from being covered.

Some more progress this weekend with paint and the new floor made easy for cleaning!

Window cut outs are in as well but will leave them closed unitil the siding is painted first.
