I have posted a few times but haven't introduced myself. My name is Hope and I live in PA. I've been trying to talk my hubby into getting chickens for years, for the fresh eggs. Finally he agreed! We went and got them last night. They are awfully cute! From top to bottom we have Lightening, Rolo, Un-named as of yet, Oreo, BB (Big Bertha), and Happy Feet. I went with the intention of getting three, they had a minimum purchase requirement of 5, so I came home with 6 I'm pretty sure before it's all said and done that I will meet the maximum of 10 allowed in my township

I need to make some adjustments to my coop plan now to allow for the extras

Adorable! We've had ours for two weeks and already I have trouble remembering they were that small and cute. Now they're in feather/fluff transition and are looking quite interesting and getting long in the legs.We went from 2 or 3 chicks to 4 chicks, so are now also expanding our coop because "who knows - we might want to add a few more next spring"...
