Yup. My hip has been bothering me lately. Not sure what's going on.

Too cute, C. Is that little white a Snowball lineage chick? They really have grown up. So her name is Wilameena Wonka? I gotta give you credit. You come up with some really neat names for your birds.

I have 12 days until I can start gathering Fayoumis eggs for the Brinsea. Not that I'm counting the days or anything. I went out to feed tonight and shook my finger at Tut and told him he had been be working his magic on those girls or else!

Wilameena and Willy Wonka are both out of my Black Copper Marans hen and KE the red bantam..Go Figure! What was explained to me was the hen was hemogynous and KE has a wheaten gene. That's how I got chocolate and pure wheaten babies! Good luck on your Fyoumi Hatch. I think the Meister kids are really a kick in the pants. They are so much stronger than pure Silkies and raise cane whenever they are out.

Which roos did you have in with your hens. I have one hen in spite of being bred by KE refuses to give me fertile eggs. She's the Welsummer hen I was given. Can they refuse to be fertilized?
