Where can I order some "Serama" Hens? ( I saw the pic of the week) She is pretty.
Is there another name for that breed?
I usually order from Ideal but I dont think they carry
    that breed.

Hey from what I remember the hen is a mix just the chicks are seramas. But you won't find them at a hatchery. You'll have to find a breeder and hatch your own, ae50mag on here sells serama eggs. I have some but of course no hens for sale. You can try looking up serama council of north america and email Jerry. You'll pay a pretty penny but he is just in vacherie. You never know he may have some culls?

Quote:I don't think any hatchery has them. But there are some good breeders. And if hatcheries do start having them they will not stay looking like the little seramas around now. leghorn if you want some of these are even just one I would look around. I might even have some to sell in spring and it wouldn't be that far of a drive for you. I certainly have an extra roo if ya want him [IMG]

The Hen caught my eye from the Pic of the Week.
I did not realize she is just a "mixed" hen.
The "Serama" also caught my eye and then I started seaching the internet.
    Thanks for you help.
    good luck with your flock
