the prettiest seal i have ever seen

    i didnt take the pic theres a news story on yahoo about this seal showing up. i think its really pretty and i have never ever seen one like this and thought i would share a nice pic. its called a ribbon seal and they say that no one knows how many of these are actually alive since they live mostly in the water at all times

    That there looks like a "Holstein seal". I've never seen one like that before.

    I read that today too...
    Its a rare,..uh... forget its name...
    It showed up in WA state... on a ladys dock..
    They are usually waaay up in the artic. And the last one to be seen in that area was in the 60's....
    I think... gotta go re-read the story... [​IMG]

    When cows are like that they call them "belts" right?

    Guess I'd have to go to backyard herds.
