My hens are about a year old now and one of them has a red scaly head and I'm not sure if she's starting to moult or has some sort of infection. I've attached a picture of her head. She's still laying and doesn't seem to have any issues with eating or drinking. I don't have any experience with chickens moulting so I'm not sure how it starts or how long it usually takes.
