Ha ha- everybody's in a panic here about this winter storm coming in tonight. I'm not worried about us- we've got suppiles and a wood burning stove. Plus I'd like to have enough snow to play in for a change. But what do you do when the power goes out for your chickens? I KNOW it's going to go out. Any ideas? I can't possibly fit any more in my house [IMG]

No power needed here and we're north of you:) If the water freezes, I just go replace it.

It's supposed to get here early tomorrow am. TDOT is already out salting the bridges and spraying brine on the roads.
We're on top of a mountain and the winds get sooo bad.

Good news- cranberries are on sale!!!!! I've been watching them for weeks. Got 10 bags for the birds [IMG]

I think they like about anything that rolls when you throw it. [IMG] I don't know how "healthy" they are for chickens- but they're really good for people so- why not.
