I am new --still ---to proper diet requirements and would love what you feed that influences the flavor of your eggs!

I feed mine Jimmy Dean sausage and cheese. That way I have a breakfast sandwich in a shell just need a bisquit. [IMG] Just kidding. The only thing I really like mine to get is lots of free range greens especially dandelions.Like the color of the yolks.

    [IMG] to the insanity.

Just let um roam and get what they think they need. It sure works here. But I did see one eat a grub and each time we crack an egg I look for that grub. Ain't seen it yet.

A free range diet (on more than just a finely trimmed lawn), extra produce from the garden, leafy greens, berries, . . .

Fresh greens and bugs! I really don't notice the taste difference much unless I happen to get a "store bought" egg. Those pale yellow yolks gross me out.[IMG]

Seriously though, free-range eatting all the bugs, worms, seeds, grass & weeds, berries, kitchen and garden scraps.... just whatever they can find.

Makes for a great tasting egg!
