the wood chip/shavings fairy smiled down upon me!

    the electric company sent out contractors to trim and top trees in our area.
    i asked what they do with the shreds.
    Tree Dude said, "Nothing, you want some?"
    i said, "Yes, that would be great!"
    Tree Dude, "How many loads do you want?"
    i said, "How many do you have?"

    so the Tree Dudes brought a load and said they have more for me!
    Tree Dudes were rewarded with Sticky Buns, of course!

    Our city piles them up and you can buy a bucket full for $2.50 a bucket. It's still a good value but not FREE and DELIVERED!!! [​IMG]

    told them come back anytime, that baked goods would be bestowed upon them for wood chips.

    After a few months, all the green barkey stuff breaks down and makes great compost+woodchips for landscaping.
