...WALKING UP MY DRIVEWAY middle of the day there was a huge raccoon walking up the driveway!

Geez...the farm is going into lockdown now, whenever we're not home the hens get locked up, the cat food goes away, etc. We dont have a gun but we're getting a paintball gun asap to at least try and scare him or SOMETHING. I don't want to relocate because I know the massive cons of it and we have no other way to kill it.

Paintball guns are not much of a deterrent. He will simply show up while you are sleeping.
Try a live trap and a garbage can full of water. Problem solved.

Thats if you want to hold him...raccoons can carry rabies easily and other nasties.

I was just thinking of live trapping him and getting a neighbour to shoot him. He's not a small coon and he's getting worse...frequenting more and now during the day.

However you dispose of it, don't open the trap to do so.
